Inspired by a flower press and with real flowers picked from Edinburgh (the birthplace of Ballantine), it has a second life, as a vase and a candle holder.

 

The whisky box uses emotions. The process of opening this packaging is a long and thoughtful process, right from the moment you hold it. Unscrewing the butterfly bolts, removing the top screen filled with the flowers builds up anticipation, and maybe memories of using your old flowerpress.
