I recently came across this amazing website that lets you explore data and visually see the

it also displays exactly where the data comes from and how they made it into live timers.

This website allows you to put the counter on your website by providing the HTML code.

I converted this code so that it was compatible with processing to get this result:

The world average temperature was displayed in the console area and updated so it was live data. This was a really great step towards my project.
